This clinic is great for beginner horse and rider as well as experienced riders. Learn how to properly move and read cattle, meet some great people, learn some good techniques and have some fun with your horse....NO PREVIOUS CATTLE SKILLS REQUIRED....However you must be able to control your horse well at a walk trot and lope.
We will start out working the horses and riders on getting control of the horses mind and feet to build the skills that they will need to work cattle at the end of the clinic. Sessions are capped at 5 riders so reserve your spot asap.

Maria has worked with horses and cattle for over 30 years and has been on quite a journey from riding horses around the dairy farm she grew up on to starting and training trail horse for public. Now she trains and shows reined cow horses. She focuses on horses that are confident and comfortable doing work that requires quick feet and complicated fast maneuvers. All of that starts with getting control of your horses feet. So no matter what you are wanting to do with your horse from trails to the show ring they will confidently go where you ask them and at the speed that you ask them. Her program has produced several youth and amature AQHA versatility ranch horse world show top ten and reserve champion horses, as well as several NRCHA money earners and world show qualifiers. She has open NRCHA earnings on several horses.
